Roadshow @ University
Hi people,
I am currently doing my internship at People's Association.
Many people, perhaps, have the impression that Community Centres/Clubs are catered mainly for the elderly. In fact, Community Centres do have a lot of courses, activities and events for the youths like us. As such, People's Association hopes to change the Youths' perception about Community Centres and get them involved in the activities, courses and events.
The plan is to organise a roadshow in universities, particularly NTU. The main objective is to promote Community Centres, youth-related and other volunteer programmes to the university students.
I seek your help in contributing ideas on how my company can go about organizing this roadshow. Examples: when, where, how to attract the youths, the concept, who should be the target audience and so on. We welcome any ideas. Feel free to contribute.
At the same time, I would like to know who are the people whom we need to contact to set up a booth in school.

Made an appointment for hair cut cum treatment. 645pm @ Telepark Kimage. Not my usual outlet though. As I wanna shop at Tampines (Metro's closing? renovation? sale), for convenient sake, decided to go this outlet.

3rd day at the Roadshow
For 3 days in a row, Mr E never fail to meet me during his lunch time. *Or he just happened to walk past?*
3 different Emcees - Maggie, Sebastian, Hossan. I still prefer my Daniel Ong.
Saw WC at Raffles. Eating ice cream? Been seeing a few familiar faces @ Raffles Place. Seems like everybody is working there.
In order to draw the crowds and aggrandize the atmosphere of this Roadshow, "showgirls"/"talentgirls" are employed. They are supposed to get people to visit the booth, publicize the courses available and so on. Instead of accomplishing what they r required to do, they simply just give out flyers with NO smile NO explanation of what is actually going on at the Roadshow. Pretty but useless. What's the point. We need "talentgals" but flower vases. Paris Hilton may be known as "Bimbo" but she is definitely way more worthy than those gals. Waste money. Rather employ CCs' aunties than them. At least the aunties are more enthusiastic.
Relax. Chill.

Saturday: Training cum Harry Potter. Nev & Nes. Yeah

Hokkaido Fair
Always tot working at CBD area is kinda cool. I beg to differ now. I hate the crowds. A total different world from the little small town tt I am working in.
Saw the ad of Ajisen. The next moment, we ended up settling our dinner there. Had my usual miso chashu ramen while he ordered ... Hmm. Cant remember. Some ramen set.
The whole point of going Tampines; the key influencing factor in luring me to that place was the Hokkaido fair. To my big disappointment, it was closed by the time I reached there. It opens from 11am to 8pm. Partly my fault, I insisted on going for dinner 1st. Hehe. No green tea japanese ice cream for me.
Instead, we had coffee. Somehow, I always stick to my usual taste and preferences. Ordered my all-time fav drink- Mocha Ice Blended. Just that, this time round, instead of having my usual starbucks's mocha, I had Coffee Beans's. Sometimes, certain things just have to be changed and let go.

Eat and eat and eat. When can I stop bingeing??
Had chocolate today again. M&M ytday and Snickers todae. Gosh. Alot of snacks/junkies in my office now.
Never fail to succumb to the evil temptation of Bubble Tea. Well. I love the pearls. Val and I each had a cup. The store is just in front of our roadshow. We couldnt resist it.
Good job Mr E. Not willing to do the interview, but managed to hoax his fellow colleague (Intern from NUS) to do on his behalf. Well done. Haha.
Meeting him for dinner. Gonna visit the Hokkaido fair which is held @ Tampines Mall. Definitely to his advantage cos he lives there. What's for dinner? Beats me. Hopefully something light as I had too much in the morning and afternoon.
Side track a bit. On my way to work this morning, I kept pondering if I shd cut my fringe. Should I colour my hair as well? He doesnt fancy gals with short fringe while I prefer that. Dilemma.Labels: Mr E, Work

PAssion@myCC Roadshow today. The duration of this roadshow is from 9th to 13th july 07 and the venue is at Chevron House. Feel free to drop by and take a look. It was my 1st time doing interviewing. Pretty fun. Gotta think and react first. Important thing to note: never repeat the questions; in other words, remember whatever that was asked and not to repeat them again. Dont act like a nervous freak.
What a surprise to see my yr 1 sem 1 & 2 tutorial mate- Ailing there. Onli to realise tt I haven kept in touch with my tutorial mates for quite some time... friends like Shihui, Wilson, KY. My bad.
Mr E came to find me at the Rdshow. Asked him to appear in the video but he kept rejecting me. Seriously desperated to find a smart looking working male, yet he refused to help me out. At end of the day, I still couldnt find any. Sob... His bad.
Well.. At least he was sweet enough to get me some junkies to fill my empty stomach. Finally, got to tk my lunch at 2pm plus plus .. Past my usual lunch hr.. Then back to office after lunch. Gotta transcribe the interviews conducted.
