A Lay Back Week
A new school term has started, but not for me. No lesson for this week yet due to National Day holiday and lecturer being away. Opps. *Just reminded myself to watch the online lecture. *
Well. I am still in the holiday mood as such. Seeing ppl going for lessons while I just laze ard everyday, it feels as though I dont belong to them. The lay back week is over. Time for me to gambatte for this sem. This is my second last semester in NTU. Gotta to pull up my GPA!!!! GPA .. pls fly as high as possible this sem.
Though I didnt fulfill everything that I wanted to do for this week, I managed to accomplished some. E.gs going out, watched The Simpsons.. Watched it on Tues night~
Oh.. the pageant contestants had their photoshoot taken on Thursday, National Day. I was there as well. :) DND is always one of the highlights of hall life. It's simply awesome. The pageant girls are stunning with each of them illuminating their own characters, shining off their own personalities. Immense anticipation from this yr's dnd. Sorry guys no shot was tken using my camera tt day.
Went home for family dinner after the photoshoot. Good girl! * A pat on my own back*
Friday felt like another public holiday to me cos i've got no lesson. Went to quite a no. of places. First stop to a nearby tailor shop to alter my jeans (to skinny cut). Next, travelled all the way down to Bugis to fix the zips on my uniform cum J's uniform Oppss.. the damage for both skirts was done by ME!!. hahaaa. still clueless how it happened. Both the zips split opened and couldnt be pulled down.
Then headed down to Vivocity. The place was packed and the crowd was driving me crazy.
Had our lunch at Earl's Swensons. The food and service were marvelous. I would recommend the grilled chicken with cheese. It is their lunch set that comes with salad buffet, coffee/tea and a scoop of ice cream.
Then it was shopping time. Wasnt really in the shopping mood. Hence, Mr E's pocket was saved. Bought a top and a belt tt's all. Both from Esprit. 10 % off!! cos of National Day.

FOC (Freshmen Orientation Camp) 2007/2008
This entry is, in fact, late by a week.
The annual FOC was finally over~ This was the 3rd FOC of my University life
From a freshman to a programmer to a slacked SA (Senior Attached).
As a freshman, I participated actively in all the games/activities. Full of enthusiastism and energy, at least for the first few days. Super shagged after the end of the whole camp.
As a programmer cum SA the following year, though not as active as the year before, I still went down for most of the activities. In fact, I only missed the DB race and SP night. Overslept for the DB race cos I didnt get any wink the previous night. Not easy being a "Ghost". That is the advantage of not being a CGL or GLs. Hahahaa.. No need to follow the freshies all the way.
Slacked SA in my final year. Not that I wanted to but I had no choice. With all the performances, trainings and writing of internship report to keep me busy for that week, I had to be away from the camp most of the time. Only a few names of the juniors ring a bell.
Feeling more and more distanced.
Confession of a final year student? Nahx. Just that I've got other priorties in life. Cheer!!! Cheer for life...
It feels good to be back in Hall 8. Moved to Blk 41 though. Pretty love the scenic view out of my new room's window. It is facing the slope of ADM. One disadvantage is that I have to draw my curtains whenever I change.
Anyway, my new room is still in a mess! Agenda: Get it cleaned by end of this week. Stop procastinating ruth! I loathe at the mention of sweeping and mopping. Anyone volunteers to help hasten the cleaning process?Labels: Cheer, FOC, Hall
