I broke my own record by staying in office till 1:30am last Thursday.
When I thought I was alone, I saw... light coming out from one of the room...
I shouldn't be so surprised since it seems somehow a norm to do OT in my company. However, it was already past midnight!
They were the auditors from XXX (well, I didn't ask). Just as I was shocked to see them in the office at that kind of weird hours, they too were astonished to find this oddball still hanging around in the office. We had a bit of conversation and went back to our respective work.
Finally, my brain got saturated at about 130am and I couldn't stand the still air in the office anymore. *air-con is off after 9pm* Packed my stuff and headed home.
BUT it wasn't the end of my crazy night. I continued doing the figures and beautifying my presentation slides....
So I only had one or so of sleep eh just rest I should say. I couldn't rest well either as my mind was still thinking about the presentation... Back in office again the next morning, I sort of going into hysterical state, rushing to finish the last 5% before the BIg person arrives...
Thank and praise God. I somehow managed to complete it before her arrival.
This was the second time that I met her with uncontrollable state of restlessness.Labels: Work
