Lunner (Lunch cum Dinner)@ Sakae
So much awaits in the month of May & June. I am yearning to smell the fresh air of Japan! Not forgetting the polluted air as well from xxx country.
Resources are scarce. Having to make do with whatever is available, I have been trying to scrimp. Sacrifice now for some better life in xxx and Japan! I am really really excited about the 2 trips anyway. All the scrimping will prove to be worthwhile.
However, I try not to consume too much instant noodles even though I am desperately trying to save as much as I can. I can't bear to part with my hair. The opportunity cost of eating instant noodles is too high for me to afford.
Since eating instant is out for me, skipping meals is the alternative. Today we decided to have 2 meals at the price of 1, but it doesn't mean we look for restaurant that offers 1-for-1 dining. Instead, we combined 2 meals together-- Lunch & Dinner. Sounds great, isn't it.
Well, in the end, we spent more than the price of 2 normal meals (canteen's). We patronized the new Sakae restaurant. Yes. NTU very own Sakae sushi restaurant. I like the ambience, very clean feeling and the food is indeed fresh. *F-R-E-S-H we fresh* It didn't feel like we are in school. Anyway, Sakae is pronounced as Sa Ka e and not Sake. So so many people make the same mistake of pronouncing it as Sake. Gosh. Sake is an alcoholic beverage peculiar to Japan anyway.
Satisfying meal. (: not many pictures were taken. Didn't want the other NTu students to think we're some mountain turtles who have never dined at a restaurant.
